what are the hours?

Friday, June 13 from 5 pm to 10 pm and Saturday, June 14 from 10 am to 8 pm.

Is there a fee for entry into the festival?

No. The Festival is free and open to the public.

What Entertainment will there be?

 We will have live performances from a diverse group of musicians. More information to come.

Will there be children’s activities?

Yes! Lots of fun to be had for all families including a petting zoo! More information to come.

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be food options on site both days. For more details, check out Food.

 can we bring water bottles?

 Yes, you are allowed to bring in water bottles. However, park rules ask that no glass containers are used in the park.

can i bring in alcohol?

No, outside alcohol is prohibited. Craft beers and wine will be available for purchase at our Beer Garden and must be consumed within the festival grounds only.

Can I bring my pet?

Dogs are allowed as long as they are on leash.

 Where is the event located?

 Arts in the Park is located inside Macken Park at the Festival Shelter across the street from the North Kansas City Parks and Recreation Center.

Do I have to pay to park?

No, all available parking is free.

Where can I park?

There is a parking lot near the Festival Shelter in Macken Park at 1002 Clark Ferguson Drive. There is also a parking lot across the street from the park at the North Kansas City Parks & Recreation Center. Parking is also permitted in the parking spots along the west side of Macken Park on Howell Street. Street parking is also allowed where permitted. No parking is allowed on along Clark Ferguson Drive except in front of the tennis courts.
